FTB Infinity Lite #24 - Automated Blaze Farm (Modded Minecraft 1.10)
103Automated spawn is good but automated killing is better! I don't know how much use we will have from Blaze Rods, but with a simple farm we will quickly get a good amount in the system!
In the old days, Blaze Rods were dropped on kill, but these days it has to be a player kill. So water is not enough, neither are Iron Spikes. Diamond Spikes acts as player damage and this is why I had to spend half of my Diamond stock in a single build :)
Regarding the Vacuum Chest, perhaps we could have used a hopper instead since the water should transport all items to the center, but in case they get stuck on the spikes perhaps we can pick them up. The only thing left is to automatically import the collection to the system, but I'll do that later when I connect more things together.
To the most part, this design comes from my first speedplay season; 4½ years ago. But the game mechanics has changed, and therefore the killing had to be improved.
