Future Dream Matches might be a Pipe Dream
Dream Matches are when an entry in The King of Fighters has no storyline and is literally just throw all the characters into this and let them duke it out. To date there have been three Dream Match games. 98, 2002 and 12. Two of those three titles are considered some of the best fighting games ever made. However, with the modern gaming landscape, could a future Dream Match be nothing more than a pipe dream?
