In this video, Garfiled Winter's Tail, released in 1989 for the Atari ST by The Edge.
It's been a tough day for Garfield; he's worked hard to empty the kitchen and, in particulary, the fridge. Now with its belly full, he's fallen asleep near the still open ice-box and as the cool blasts over him, he starts to dream. He dreams about having an adventure in northern Italy and Switzerland. His quest? find a lasagna factory and the chocolate-egg-laying chicken.
Based on 1978 cartoon character by Jim Davis, Garfield winter's tale is a multi event game that includes skiing, skating and a puzzle game. The graphics are simple and sometimes there are slowdowns even when the screen is nearly empty. The audio is composed of an unceasing tunechip that will force you to lower the volume. The playability is low also due to sluggish controls. IMHO the game doesn't give justice to Garfiled, it deserved a much much more polished game.
