In this video, Moonwalker - The Computer Game, released in 1989 for the Atari ST by U.S.Gold.
In 1988 when Michael Jackson was still alive, a movie called Moonwalker made its appearance on the big screens around the world. It sold well even if it was reviewed as an average movie. One year later the computer game was released for the ST a 4 level game where you have to stop a drug dealer by ruining its business thus making a better world for children. In the first 2 levels we control MJ from an eagle's eye view as we try to collect things like pieces of a rabbit's costume while avoiding fans, journalists and bad thugs. In level 3 and 4 we switch into a classic side-scrolling game and we must face the "bad guys" in the form of stormtroopers.
Graphically the game is ok, not very detailed but with good animated intro sequences, taken directly from the movie and fast multiscrolling. The audio is composed of a poor yet recognizable rendition of the song bad that plays in loop until you lower the volume to zero. The playability is ok I guess, but personally I don't like this game.
Here you'll find intro and gameplay of first two levels.

All footage taken from original hardware machines and upscaled to 1080P.

Let me know what do you think about the video in the comments below but, most important, Enjoy!!!
