Hey, there! It's been a bit since the last devlog video!

In case you didn't know, my motherboard on my computer went out, and I had to replace it (and decided to replace the CPU and get a new case for it (along with the other parts I had already added to my computer), too). None of the data was lost, and I essentially have a brand new computer now, but Windows deactivated, so... I'm also on Linux now. :1

It's working rather well; the only real problem I have is just that when a program plays music with ALSA and I have my Blue Yeti USB mic plugged in, there's a good chance (~30% with Sunvox vs. 100% with Wine) that the audio gets really crackly and scratchy. Oh, well!

Anyway, this song is called "A Lost Kindgom". I decided to make it after thinking about someone's comment that one of the songs for Gearend sounded like the Zeal BGM from Chrono Trigger. I really like Chrono Trigger's BGM and overall feel, and wanted to make something similar. And so, this came out.

I wasn't feeling it so much earlier, but as I spent more time fixing it up, I came to like it more, and I think it's pretty awesome now!

Here's a SoundCloud link in case you want to listen to it without all of my "blah blah blah"-ing:
