Gearend Devlog #7 - Enemies and Eeeereas...?
YO!
Here's another devlog video, this one talking about enemies and areas. Basically, I've got a couple of enemies essentially finished, and have quite a few more planned. I was thinking of having around 15 (5 for each zone, with two being unique to the zone and three being "common" enemies that can be reused between zones, not counting bosses). That feels a bit low, but hey, I've gotta get this done ASAP, so i've gotta make 'em quick!
I got the behavioral system done, which is what's powering the AI of each enemy in my video, and which is pretty much the system that I outlined in the previous AI video. I made a couple of additions to help it be easier to use (like adding multiple behaviors at once to make it easier to see), but overall, it's a straightforward game.
