The 500e is just about the newest device I've ever gotten hold of for review; like literally right off the manufacturing line. Well, I guess the very first ChromeBox would have been even newer, but let's leave that alone.
It's time for another Out-of-the-Box episode as I break down my initial hardware impressions of this new device targeted for education. A word of warning: because this device hits a couple of my evangelical hot-buttons (using the right device for the right user or use-case, and the use of digital inking in education), I cover a lot of that in the first half. I also go into the basics of what is a ChromeBook for any entirely new users to the product category.
So for you hardcore Chromers who just want to hear about the device and only the device itself, you can skip to 6:30
