Gedonia playthrough Part 03 Moving on with the main quest

In this part, after some exploration and leveling up, I decide to move on with the main quest and go to the next region to meet Ernest Hofner, a scholar well-versed with ancient languages who is supposed to help me with the prophecy my character witnessed. And as the game shines when it comes to exploration and open world structure, the cutscenes of the main story is where the game shows its low-budget nature for sure. Wyanna is one of the most annoying NPCs I have ever met. And it is not only because of her nagging nature of a rebelous teenager who hates the whole world; it's also because of the voice acting - it is simply really awkwardly paced and the intonation is completely off. I am aware that English is probably a secondary language for the voice actress but... If you ever saw a game called The Zoo Race and the intro to that game, you will immediately know what I mean. The dialogues between the main character and Wyanna remind me of the dialogue from the beginning of The Zoo Race. It's almost identical in terms of voice acting. What is more, sometimes there is sound missing for some of the lines. At some point, I also thought that the game glitched out. After the cutscene with the bandit ambush at night I thought the game glitched out because there were still three bandits standing right at the spot from the cutscene and Wyanna simply disappeared (and I expected either to be another cutscene or her somehow to continue accompanying the main character... I don't know). There are definitely some rough edges but I still really enjoy the game and can't wait to discover new regions and biomes.
