As you may or may not know, Waters of Dannoura is a platforming-heavy level in a game accursed with one of the worst cameras in recent gaming history. This makes it bad news, and I'm not sure even these shortcuts make it tolerable to experience... But at least here's a chance to showcase some technique ideas.

0:00 - from the start of the 2nd wave, there's but a short stretch to reach the left half of the level. There's plenty of invisible collision blocking your path, but if you get on the railing and use Kamaitachi to long jump, you'll get across. This is the biggest skip of the bunch featured here.

Basically, Kamaitachi is a very useful tool in this game. Perfect for doing very long jumps, as you have a good air momentum during the jumping attack. It can also be spammed fairly fast, making it a preferable ground movement style as well.

Unfortunately it's not possible to just get past the main "puzzle" of this area, which is pushing the two boats towards the middle. The distance you'd have to jump over still remains too grueling.

0:21 - you can skip most of the spots where Benkei is supposed to hit down a mast. Instead of having to use the mast to get across, you can long jump with Kamaitachi, or in some cases Heaven Dance (another move that gets you longer than a normal jump).

0:40 - during the 3rd wave, you can do this small shortcut. It might not even save time, unless done really fast, but it provides an easier access to the miracle pill chest, should you need to collect it.

Sorry about the clipped sound. Have to be even more careful with volume settings from now on.
