0We're all for business management sims here on our channel, and I'm happy to introduce Ale Abbey to you guys. If you don't know it yet, there's this game I used to harp on about a lot before called Wartales - a party-based adventure game set in medieval times that I really liked. The same publishers who released that game, Shiro Unlimited, brings us this new business management game called Ale Abbey, where you manage a monastery and build your beer-brewing empire right from your hallowed halls.
As a business management sim, Ale Abbey scratches an itch, allowing you to craft new brew recipes, actually make them, and then sell them to towns or use them to fulfill orders. When you have a lot in stock, you can even have your abbots some drink to make them happy! Manage your personnel and your finances while you also spend some time researching new furniture, wares, and technology that will allow your monastery to become a world-famous beer-producing abbey.
And to boot, this is very historically accurate. Monasteries from the middle ages did brew beer to financially support its activities. Can I also just spend a bit of my space here to praise the game's music? It's very appropriate to the setting and is a joy to listen to.
