Timing starts when I first control Gex and timing ends when the "Congratulations!" screen appears after the blackout of the final boss. Final time is around 2:13:50.76. RTA timing is around 2:13:58.52.

What a run! :D End goal was sub 2:15. Smashed it with sub 2:14. I am extremely happy with this time. The journey is finally over with this category after years and years of playing this on and off. I may return in the future if something major happens or if someone beats this time. But for now, I would like to focus on other categories.

Overall, this run is something to be proud of considering how inconsistent and punishing this category is. Gameplay wise, I played better then usual throughout the whole run but I wasted a bunch of time on TV cancels in Mythology Network and FairyTales TV. It's a shame that I wasted nearly 30 seconds on the 2nd TV cancel in FairyTales TV on this run, otherwise I would have been really satisfied with this run. I could probably get a 2:12 if I really grind this category out but TV cancels is what makes this category really brutal and not fun once you have to rely on them to PB again. For that reason, Holy Moses is a horrible level due to how inconsistent the camel can be and the frame perfect TV cancel at the end that is 40 minutes into a run.
