Timing starts when I first control Gex and timing ends when the "Congratulations!" screen appears after the blackout of the final boss. Final time is around 2:16:48.33. RTA timing is around 2:16:56.19.

Now I am getting somewhere :) Apart from failing the frame perfect TV cancel in Holy Moses and failing the stupid rainbow TV cancel in Mythology Network, this is a solid run. My goal for now is 2:14.

For those of you who are unaware, there was this huge discovery that saves a lot of time in this category called “Slide TV Cancel”. Here are 2 videos you should see about this new trick.

This discovery actually makes Mythology Network so much better then before because I can now TV cancel off of the first TV in that level without risking my whole run to a frame perfect TV cancel. It feels so good to erase that 1 frame trick that was required but it also opens up a lot of scary TV cancels in the 2nd half of the run that if I fail one, I will loose minutes. For that reason, this category gets more brutal in the 2nd half of the run.
