This is a Sega "Card" game. If you're the type who doesn't like really difficult games where everything is out to kill you and vampires like to rape you in corners, then you'll want to pass on this game, because that's exactly what you get. For everyone else, welcome to another classic, repetitive game that requires fast reflexes, a lot of patience, and a bit of luck.

As Mick, you've been told by your grandfather that you've inherited the family jewels, but the bad news is that they are hidden in Count Dracula's haunted house. If you want your cut of the fortune, you're gonna have to earn it. Each level has numerous keys and jewels to collect. The keys are with random enemies, and the jewels are in Dracula's possession. Get five of them and you get to go to the next level. This means there are also five Draculas... don't really know why.

You're not defenseless, but you don't get a lot of help either. You can punch people, grab flying swords if you've got precise timing (failing to do so just gets you hurt, and they're very limited), grab boxes for points + life and hit light switches which stop enemies temporarily. You can also go through many different doors which warp you through the level randomly.

When you encounter Dracula, a pain in the *** fight takes place where you can get knocked down stairs, into fire, through trick floors (which make you fall and can result in damage) and just prepare to get annoyed. He sometimes turns into the count, where he'll chase you randomly and inflict bodily harm, with the potential to kill when you're cornered. Defeating him will result in getting a jewel as well as replenishing all your health, as he should, since he takes the majority of it. You can't fight Dracula without a key to open his coffin. The game starts off "simple" enough, but quickly becomes a chore when you're introduced to enemies like the dreaded Mummy.

Oh, and if you give Dracula too much breathing room when he dies, he'll come back to life, so don't let that happen, lol. Enjoy.
