Ghostbusters was a game released for the NES back in 1986. (I hope you weren't looking for a game based on the 2016 Ghostbusters remake with Melissa McCarthy and the like...cause this ain't that!) The movie of course is a horror classic, widely considered one of the greatest comedies of all time. The game is widely considered to be a dud. It was actually a port of the Activision game that was originally on the Atari 2600....which also sucked. :)

Every Thursday, I put out a video in my Horror Retrogaming Series. In this series, I'm trying to illustrate how horror has been presented and evolved in gaming these past few decades. I will trace this evolution by playing adaptations of horror movies and books, early survival horror games, and any horror retro games that tried to actually be scary.
