The big gaming news this week is the rumor that Nintendo is discontinuing the Wii U's production at the end of 2016 to make way for their next console (which is currently codenamed the Nintendo NX). I give my thoughts on the subject in this week's gaming Vlog Type Thing video and discuss my excitement over the possibility of an incoming price drop and whether or not the classic games on the system like Smash Bros Wii U, Mario Kart 8 and Splatoon helped elevate the system over other console failures like Sega's 32X or Sega's Dreamcast. Its not as bad as the Virtual Boy, though. That we can all agree on.
