Infinite carnage ~
Is a distinctive combat style that offers simple, but effective over powered offensive & defensive techniques through a continuous loop.
Making this style of combat extremely efficient when faced off against groups of enemies, especially with projectile attacks like that of a Valkyrie.
This new fighting style prioritises moment to moment gameplay, with a large emphasis on offensive & defensive combat techniques.
It allows you to focus on being present within each moment during combat, & overcoming each obstacle presented to you by choosing the correct techniques in every given moment to withstand every situation.
This is where Infinite Carnage comes into play, by making use of every combat mechanic the game has to offer...to fit & overcome every scenario.
Mainly referring to the stance change with the fists, Guardians Fury: switch stances by pausing momentarily after any bare-handed attack. Once in new stance press R2 to perform a leaping shield attack. After the shield attack you can follow up with a ground slam attack, but we don't want that... Where Infinite Carnage deviates from this mechanic is by pausing momentarily after the first leaping shield attack, then rapidly press R1 to continue bare-handed combat seamlessly & at any moment after, pause again to initiate Infinite Carnage Technique (to withstand multiple attacks at the perfect moments) This infinite loop is what defines Infinite Carnage.
Forget everything you think you know, when contesting Kara in The John Wick Challenge.
Runic canceling tech will not help you here, it will only hinder your success & slow you down. Go to hard with theatrics, & you will perish.
Instead prioritize fast reflexes, being 100% aware of your surroundings at all times, actual skill, & the ability to anticipate enemy attack patterns 3-4 steps ahead above all! So that you can initiate Infinite Carnage Technique when appropriate, & make combat look fluid, continuous, seamless & effortless amongst the chaos.
Infinite Carnage is the only way to play this aggressive in this environment.
However, do not overuse this technique, that is when it becomes a crutch. Only use Infinite Carnage when appropriate.
Now, I give you a taste for what's to come ~
Some time ago I was deep in thought, curating & building the perfect God of War Challenge. My sights were focused on Kara since she posed the biggest threat with all the draugr's she summons. I beat her over & over & over again. Each time creating rules that would make the experience more challenging. I finally came to a point where I was most satisfied. Rules for "The John Wick Challenge" can be found in the description here: https://youtu.be/9N87hl_fClE
I was creating a combat style simultaneously while fighting her each time without even realizing it at first, until I watched the footage back after. I realized I revamped combat to a degree I couldn't even fathom beforehand. This combat style was created in the pits of Kara's lair, specifically designed to dismantle her. The technique used with this specific combat style I created, I named it: Infinite Carnage.
This is the technique but simplified, demonstrating it with only one hand: 8:50
Before this I was revamping my core combat style to reflect a more visceral, personal style of hand-to-hand combat. This style of combat I gave the name Combat Style: v/7.2
Which can be seen here: 4:28
And it was beautiful & mesmerizing when they were both used simultaneously. I created Infinite Carnage & Combat Style v/7.2 about two years ago, but I was keeping it a secret & teased them only on my private Twitter account as a social experiment.
I was almost done with the challenge aswell. Perfecting my gameplay to a degree I would be satisfied with. (When I face a boss in any game, I'm hardly ever satisfied with my first, second, or even third attempt. I will not stop until I get what I desire. & that goes for everything. That is the code I live by)
Mind you during this time I was spreading my attention-
