and how to keyframe the retarget manager.
There are not much tutorials about godot 4 animation manager with
skeleton2d so i made my own.
you can set skeleton rigging as per any tutorial by i worked with target nodes retarget nodes and inverse kinematics tutorial
if you use godot docs tutorial and dont have retarget nodes .
you can select property track in animation manager and you can select the bones - then you select the node 2d of bones and select position. #godot4 #animationmanager #skeleton2d #2drigging #keyframes

Tutorial highlights

you need a skeleton2d rig.
ik target retarget nodes
create animation manager
name a new track select propterty track
select the target /retarget nodes you want to move.
you can select the location and or rotation of the TargetNode/retarget node
enable keyframe autoinsert keys
select duration.
move dem target nodes
if it works correctly a keyframe will be added if you are moving the retarget nodes.

other animations tutorials work by moving the sprite2d and keyframing it but for bone animations and retargeting of my project it did not work by keyframing the sprite2d so i keyframe the retarget nodes or keyframed the bones instead . you should select the position and or rotation of the required nodes, dont pick too much nodes or godot will crash. #godot2danimateskeleton #howtoanimateskeleton #howtoanimatetheskeleton2d rigingodot #animationmanagerskeletonrigging #animationmanager #howtouseanimationmanagerwithskeleton2drig #onnanimatingaskeleton2drigingodot
