Day 2 and we headed out in the evening to the Australian Outback Spectacular which is an Australian country themed performance including singing, dancing and horses!
The show includes a cool straw hat similar to a fedora that you get to keep and also includes a sit down dinner that is served while you watch the show. Unfortunately you're not really allowed to film the show but we managed to sneak in some cheeky footage using our phones.
It certainly makes you feel proud to be Australian when you see and hear the references to our indigenous aboriginals, The Man from Snowy River, our kelpie and cattle dogs, ute culture and of course our horses.
The horses also get around to jumping over flaming obstacles, racing around the track and dancing around in formations. Very impressive stuff and it's suitable for the whole family.
There are also things like the circus elements, quad bikes and the occasional whip cracking as well.
Highly recommended if you want to deviate off the theme parks and do something different of an evening up at the Gold Coast.
