Gold Coast Trip 2018 - Day 1 - Sea World

We hit up the 'Goldy' theme parks. Our first stop was Sea World Marine Park. Firstly we decided to catch the monorail all the way to the far end of the park and catch the Affinity Dolphin Presentation where the dolphins perform tricks such as waving to the crowd, jumping out of the water and carrying the trainers around.
Next stop was Polar Bear Shores where we got to see a polar bear swimming under the water.
We took a break to see the Paw Patrol and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles live shows which is catered for young children.
After that it was time to see the Fish Detective Sea Lions where the talented sea lions do such things as acting around and climbing stairs.
Shark Bay was a massive underground tank with viewing panes where you could see a huge range of fish, sharks and underwater creatures.
For a bit of fun we decided to head to the Battle Boats section in Castaway Bay where you sit on a boat that sits in the water on rails and you get to shoot water at people using the on board water canons. Unfortunately we didn't shoot back and got absolutely soaked in the process.
Also in the Castaway Bay section is the Sky Fortress which is a huge rope playground with multiple levels and storeys. It's a great view from up the top if you can get there! It was a good chance to dry off and see the views with the sun beginning to set.
Last but not least I headed to the Jet Stunt Extreme show which is a cool jet ski performance where they show off with jumps, flips, dives and all sorts of tricks.
All in all a nice day out with the weather not being too hot and it was good fun going to Sea World again having been there a couple of times before.
