SimCity - Atari ST (Gameplay, Let's Play at city building!)
Simcity is the first of a long line of the Sims franchise that was designed by Will Wright. The ST version here was made by Maxis in 1989.
As a kid I never fully understood this game, I was always for instant gratification which is not what this game is about and unfortunately I would spend all of my yearly budget and therefore have nothing left to help my citizens the next time a monster rampaged through the streets. It also kind of makes sense not to put your new housing complex next to industrial buildings or next to that power plant or airport.
But the ST version is very addictive with this being with this being my second favourite God game on the machine, I only wish that there was some background music because it can be very quiet at times.
So this video is just me creating a city from scratch, there is really no end to the game; it carries on for as long as you want it to.
