The GoPro Display Mod has finally been released. Well, I assume it has because the GoPro website is now saying that the GoPro Display Mod is now out of stock.
If something is out of stock, it has to have been in stock in the first place at some point before it went out of stock. This is why I assume that the GoPro Display Mod must have been released.
I had signed up for an email notification from GoPro to inform me when the Display Mod was being released but I never got that email notification.
What's more usual. The usual big YouTube channels that would normally be supported by GoPro and be sent the latest GoPro products for them to review ahead of the date of release of a GoPro product, don't seem to have received the Display Mod.
Also. If the Display Mod had sold out immediately by Saturday 5th September this would mean that the release date for the GoPro Display Mod couldn't have been any later than that Saturday. Or, the GoPro Display Mod release date would have been the day before, being Friday the 4th September.
That all being the case and the day I'm uploading this video is Wednesday the 9th of September, surely there would be many people now on YouTube making GoPro Display Mod unboxing videos or GoPro Display Mod review videos but I have not seen one. If I had on my hands on a Display Mod by now I'd have well have done an unboxing and first test review video.
So, here are some questions I have for other GoPro users.
Did you get an email notification from GoPro to say that the Display Mod was in stock and available to order?
When was the GoPro Display Mod release date?
Did you see the Display Mod on the GoPro website for sale?
Are you as confused as I am?
Do you think GoPro have lied about the Display Mod?
Given that the GoPro Hero9 Black is probably due soon, do you think we will ever see the GoPro Display Mod?
Lastly. The title of the video is asking, are GoPro lying? This is a question and not an accusation and I'm only asking as I'd proven that GoPro have form for lying because they lied about the microphone on the GoPro Media Mod being a shotgun mic, when I clearly proved it was not.
