RODE Wireless GO - specific indoor use for YouTube product video recording - how does it sound?
So just an example of using the RODE Wireless GO on its own, no external lavalier, for the convenience of being able to move around and still maintain a constant dialogue level.
While the position of the mic/transmitter, being on show and positioned on the neck line of my T-shirt, isn't something that I'm in to. Plus, I'm also not a huge fan of the built in mic capsule. There's no doubt that the Wireless GO is super convenient.
Although my usual Sennheiser ME64 is a much better dialogue vlogging microphone. Becuase it is a cardioid mic, there's no way I can move outside of it's pick up area without the dialogue going all over the place.
Given that I'm after utter convenience, I don't want to mess about with cables (lavaliers), have the quickest setup possible and be able to move about, even right off camera. Is the sound in this video acceptable?
