In the previous episode, dealt with the traitor Manthar clan's plan to subvert a system needing help, and destroyed a bunch of pirates.

Picking the Bones

We have been attacking the Manthar traitors, but it is time to finish the job. They have a base and some asteroid caches in the Lodash asteroid belt. Find the caches, capture the caches, and capture the base. We get a transport full of marines to help.
Well, the transport did not help, and the capture command didn't do anything. In hindsight, I should have tried to transfer ship command to the transport.
Anyway, we first dealt with the Orion liaison ship and the Gorn frigate that tried to charge us. We destroyed both.
Then we charged the base, and start shooting at it, as we tried to reduce its defender's numbers. Then the base blew up. We destroyed the two defense platforms near it.
We then went to each asteroid base, destroyed the defense platform next to each, and captured both bases.
We then disengaged by leaving the map, but Guardians Errant considered this a horrible job done. Apparently, I should have captured the base, even though it was not stated as a primary mission.
