GPD WIN 4 LCD Firmware Update - Fix the 60Hz refresh bug
91How to update your GPD WIN 4 LCD Firmware without having to open your handheld. Please enable subtitles for multi-language text including English, German, Spanish, Italian and French.
Some additional info found since the video has been posted which may help:
- An important note suggested on Discord is to ensure that Motion Assist is not loaded before doing the LCD firmware update. If it is loaded it will fail, so close it beforehand.
- If you get a "Secure Boot Violation - Invalid signature detected. Check Secure Boot Policy in Setup" when installing the update. Disable "Secure Boot" in the BIOS, run the update, and after you can enable it again.
As a note, GPD WIN 4's shipped by DroiX had their IC updated since the bug was discovered. If you purchased from us and are unsure if it has the IC update, please get in contact with us at support@droix.co.uk and we can check for you.
