You may consider this to be overkill, but the fight is difficult for many people and I highly recommend this strategy for anyone struggling. It doesn't take too long to get comfortable with Lance in MHW, especially if you've played it in older games. Health Boost can help in your builds but I advise skills that help you not get hit or help you do more DPS over Health Boost, because none of Chungrus's attacks (except his pin) should do over 150 damage to a Blademaster with augmented armor. If you are using a ranged weapon, then yes you will need Health Boost to avoid oneshots.
