This video is about optimizing shelling damage from a Wide Gunlance. The goal is to do as much fixed damage to the target as possible. Note that on monsters with very weak hitzones to cutting damage, the slam/sweep attacks will be proportionally stronger. By contrast, enemies with very resistant hitzones will take the same damage from shelling, which is proportionally more than your regular attacks. This video is tailored to people who are somewhat familiar with Gunlance but not sure how to optimize their play. I tried to cover the material very quickly.
