Grotesque Beauty is a Horror-Visual Novel developed by Ben Ho and Digital Bento and released for Steam on PC and Mac.
In this game, you play as Rachel that visits her friend Anita for a sleepover. Anita's parents are away for work, and Anita asked Rachel to keep her company through the night. Anita has been paranoid lately about something watching her, as well as feeling anxious about recent kidnappings in the area. As the night progresses, more peculiar things start to happen around the house, and it becomes clear that the girls will find themselves in serious danger.
Will you make all the right choices to make the girls survive the night?
This game has 30 different endings, and in this video I get Ending 25 - Two Survivors. I chose to obtain this ending since it gives the most closure to the story and ends things a happy note (sort of...). The choices you make through the story will affect which ending you get. Without giving away too many spoilers, most of the endings will result in the girls dying some gruesome, horrible deaths.
Most of the choices at the beginning of the game will have no effect on anything whatsoever (like choosing orange juice over vodka won't make a difference). When Rachel and Anita are about to investigate Anita's parents' room, this is where the biggest branches of endings will begin.
In order to obtain Ending 25, you need to make these choices when you enter Anita's parents' room:
Rachel Stay Anita Go ➞ Trust Her ➞ Run (or Reason with It ➞ Sacrifice No One ➞ Run) ➞ Don't Answer the Door ➞ Leave Room (or Don't Leave Room ➞ Leave Room) ➞ Return To House Destroy the Monster ➞ Throw Painting into Fire ➞ Take Anita and Run ➞ Hide Anita Inside Painting.
Alternately, you can make these choices to receive the ending:
Anita Stay Rachel Go ➞ Run ➞ Push Her (or Grab Chair) ➞ Escape Grip ➞ Container of Water ➞ Fight ➞ Run (or Reason with It ➞ Sacrifice No One ➞ Run) ➞ Don't Answer the Door ➞ Leave Room (or Don't Leave Room ➞ Leave Room) ➞ Return To House Destroy the Monster ➞ Throw Painting into Fire ➞ Take Anita and Run ➞ Hide Anita Inside Painting.
Be sure that you don't sacrifice anyone if you investigate the painting, cause that will result in Ending 1 or 2!
