This is a full game playthrough of Super Crush K.O., a beat-em-up game released for the PC and Nintendo Switch on January 16, 2020.
In this game, you play as Karen, whose cat - Chubbz - has been catnapped by a strange alien girl with a robot army. Battle through 16 stages and four bosses in order to bring Karen's cat home again.
You don't need to do a whole lot to complete this game 100% fortunately. After completing a stage, you will get a ranking based on how many points you accumulated. The highest rank you can achieve is S+, and to ensure you get that rating, it's very important that you:
- Complete the stage as fast as possible
- Take no damage
- Never use any continues (this won't be an issue since you can't take any damage at all)
- Have a perfect combo
After the stage is completed, you will see how well you did, and if you completed all of the above conditions, you should get an S+-Rank. The "Time" and "Continues" will give you a 10% bonus each, while the "Hits Taken" and "Perfect Combo" will give you 20% bonus.
During my playthrough, I always achieved the "Time" bonus, so luckily the time limit isn't too strict. Taking no hits is the hardest part of achieving S+, since it's very easy to play sloppily and commit mistakes. My suggestion is to never take any risks, and keep your distance while using your gun.
Perfect combos are achieved when you build up the ranking in the top right corner of the screen, by keeping attacking the enemies. You can build up this ranking to S at most. It's worth noting that it's totally fine to lose the combo between screens. During the stage, a warning triangle will appear and you'll be bombarded by robots. After this wave of enemies, you will be rewarded if you kept a perfect combo, took no damage, and what combo you have when you killed the last enemy. As long as you don't lose your combo DURING this entire enemy wave, you'll be good to go, and will get the Perfect Combo bonus (as well as a medal on the results screen).
Getting a perfect combo on all enemy waves (therefore getting all medals on the result screen), will award you the 20% multiplier!
Getting S+ on all stages won't give you any reward or anything, so I only recommend going for it if you are up for a challenge!
