The ninth mission in the Z.A.F.T ( and the option to change paths) is fairly easy to S-Rank as none of the required objectives are particularly difficult.
The Mission Starts with the Two aegis Battleships on each side of the Archangel and six Spearhead units, taking out three of the Spearheads will reduce the incoming damage a bit though isn't required as it is fairly easy to take down the Aegis Battleships with relative ease after that you can head for the Gate behind the Archangel and take that out for the second point objective after that you can chip away at enemy units from safety while waiting for the Freedom to arrive and trigger the escape, once that happens just stay away from it and rush over to the safe area before cleaning up any leftovers if there are any.
The second part of the Z.A.F.T version of the mission is effectively a shooting gallery as the enemy rarely targets you while your allies are alive.
The first wave is three Strike Daggers vs three GINN making for a quick clean up, the next is Six 105 (Aile) hunting down three GINN though you will need to be quick on this one to save all your allies though it is not required for the S-rank if you keep your health high, next is a 105 (Sword) and two Strike Daggers chasing a GINN which should be easily handled, followed by another of the same group just a little further up and then yet another of the same group to close out the mission.
