GTA ONLINE CORRUPTS SAVE FILES, SERVER ISSUES (Escapist News Now)
The highly anticipated launch of the multiplayer component to GTA 5 has been bogged down by extreme servers issues, crashing, and even corrupting save files. According to dozens of reports on various social media outlets, some users are claiming when they fail to connect to GTA Online, they end up with damaged or corrupted save files that affect their story mode progress.
Over on the Rockstar support page they acknowledge they are having major issues saying they are in the process of looking into the error message "Rockstar Cloud Servers Unavailable", Freezing while loading into the first race in GTA Online, intermittent "Failed to Host a GTA Online Session" and more.
