I wanted to try and compare the fastest few cars in the game (when they were fully upgraded) to answer the question "Which is the fastest car in GTA V?". When I tested them in game on the runway it felt like some of the cars were much faster than the others but when I edited a timecode on each one I was surprised to find that they all are roughly the same, completing the runway in 26 seconds (give or take 1 second). So if you want a fast car just buy a cheap one and fully upgrade it, it will be just as fast as any other car.
