The main guide recommends you pick the Offshore option for this heist. However if you want to take the Freighter option follow this playlist:

When following the main guide, do the “Submarine” Heist Setup mission as normal. You will not need to do the Heist Setup Mission “Cargobob” so skip that part of the guide.
Cons of the Freighter Approach:
One less easy gold medal available from the setups.
Don’t get as good weapons as you do with Offshore (such as the combat machine gun)
Pros of the Loud Approach:
Getting Gold on the finale is not quite as difficult as with Offshore.
Slightly quicker finale and one less setup to do.
Either approach will make no difference to the final take.
