GTX 1050 Ti vs GTX 960 Frame Time Analysis - Far Cry Primal [INTRO CUTSCENES]
Let's have a look at the performance of the GTX 1050 Ti, NVIDIA's entry-level GPU from the Pascal line-up - we added GTX 960 for the sake of comparison. To kick start this series, we opted for Far Cry Primal, a very well optimized open world action-adventure video game. The Dunia Engine is responsible for the game's beautiful scenery, Ubisoft Montreal really made a remarkable effort to portray a visually stunning prehistoric world.
Both card produce excellent frame times without any hiccups on 1080p and high preset, there's not much between them - nonetheless, the Pascal card beats the older card throughout the cutscenes. If you are to choose an entry-level card, it is hard not to recommend GTX 1050 Ti.

A dedicated recording PC with a capture card was used to save the game footages and consequently no performance penalty was incurred on the reviewed systems. For convenience, games are installed on an external SSD and connected to the reviewed PC via USB3.1 interface.
