To keep the ball rolling, we let the mainstream cards from NVIDIA and AMD duke it out in GTAV, the fan favorite open world game developed by Rockstar North. To make the cards work hard Very High quality settings were used with 2xMSAA and 16xAF as the built-in benchmark portrays the stunning atmosphere around Southern California and downtown San Andreas.
The frame times suggest that the GTX 1060 comfortably outperforms the RX 480.
