Guilty Gear playthrough Part 4 FAILURE
0I'm so close to striking the rest of this game. So absolutely close. And, ironically, it's not because of Testament. It's because of Millia. I knew she was broken. Absolutely broken. But holy crap I was not expecting to see JUST how broken she was in the hands of the computer.
Ky: Eh, he was alright. There really isn't a lot to say about him, other than how much trouble I had getting his Overdrive to work. It's great when it pulls off, nice and quick, good distance, good damage, but it just didn't want to work.
Zato-1: This is where I rage quit. Most of the fights were alright. Nothing special. He's.. an odd character, his moves are not in my muscle memory so it's difficult to pull them off. And against most characters, he's alright. But his rival fight was Millia. And it was unwinnable. Millia would literally go through my attacks, the physical attack showed a DIRECT HIT to her and nothing. Sometimes she'd block WHILE ADVANCING and hit me anyway. But worse was the spam. Sure, I'd shown that you could spam with her, but the computer decided to spam the Overdruve. Sometimes as often as 3-4 times IN A ROW, one right after the other. That should never be allowed. That's why most games didn't let you use it until the bar was completely full, so that it couldn't be abused like that. But that still wasn't the worst of it. The worst of it was that she used her instant kill me 5 or 6 times. A mechanic that made me entirely avoid this game before. And I was right to. It is the worst mechanic in a fighting game. I still want to see what the ending for that character is, I want to see how well I can attack Testament and Justice... but you have to get through the obscenely broken Millia first.
