I used to Lead Raids back in WoW ( 25 man -40 man I feel like doing it again maybe lol ) and was Leader for Ranked Battleground as well ( 10-15 man ). I know what it is to Lead a group.

One thing I understand, is that the classes players chose has "zero" impact on the success of the Raid. The most important thing in raids ( apart from having top dmg ) is to understand Mechanics. If you understand Mechanics, the chances to success is higher.

I don't recall ever asking anyone " Do you know your rotation? Do you have a proper build?" Nope. Never asked that in 18 years.

What I would ask is " Can you come in Discord? Are you willing to follow my instructions" That is all I would ask. I would also check their gear to make sure their Gear ilevel is proper for the raid.

99.9% of the time, we would down the boss and everyone would be happy.

So, people who are super "picky" when it comes to Raiding, I think you may need to re-adjust your Leadership skills... because being a Leader, is not just about making sure people play a "class" you prefer... but more about if these players can follow instruction without dying mid way and wipe the entire raid.
