3Hades is a computer game in the genres of roguelike and action/RPG, developed and released by the American studio Supergiant Games. The game was released to early access in 2018 as a temporary exclusive for the Epic Games Store service launched at the same time; the full version for Microsoft Windows, macOS and Nintendo Switch was released in 2020.
The plot of the game is based on ancient Greek mythology: the main character Zagreus, the son of Hades, is trying to escape from the underworld of the dead and get to Mount Olympus; on this way he is helped by the Olympian gods, who send certain gifts to Zagreus. In each passage, the player must overcome a series of randomly collected rooms with enemies and rewards; in case of death, Zagreus returns to the very beginning of the path, although the player can spend the treasures collected during the passage and improve the characteristics or unlock new weapons. Numerous Hades walkthroughs are linked together by a variety of scenes and dialogues that reveal the background of the game and the relationships of its characters.
