Half-Life 2 - Looking around is forbidden

My attempt at playing through the entire HL2 series without ever looking around using the mouse or whatever input methods you could think of.
This is a segmented run, not aiming for speed, but merely to get through. Each video starts where the last one left off. If you see any weird cuts, it's because of Source's save stutter. Similarly, some graphical errors occur due to reloading saves.

Another chapter which was close to getting the whole run stuck. Less because it was difficult, but more because it required a lot of planning.

Taken from the previous chapter, we use the angle of -91 for the most part. Other angles were possible as well (something closer to -160 might have made things simpler, in hindsight).

Instead of switching the electric fence off (we can't with this angle), we do an explosive barrel jump to skip that part.

Save deletion was required to allow us to get the shotgun, making our life a whole lot easier. A first grenade jump was used to skip both the elevator segment (couldn't press the button) AND the sidetracking map, shortening and simplifying this chapter by quite a bit.

A second grenade jump skipping the cart was just done to simplify the route. Not required, but certainly easier.

Another save deletion for 02a, since the following doors have incredibly specific angles. In fact, we should technically be able to get past both doors with the 90Β° angle, but due to rounding of decimal values, the second one simply does not open. We're literally missing 0.0001Β° to open that door (not even view flinch by firing guns or using explosives helped here). Save deletion to the rescue - putting us past the door (thanks to the mapper at Valve positioning the spawn there!).

Finally, with the angle we have, we can barely trigger some look events required for the cutscene at the end.

The next chapter will start out with a save deletion, as that would again spawn us past the door. I have made sure that we have enough grenades to get the player killed for it to work.
