Half-Life Blue Shift (Easy) Part 1
0..And we begin, with the 2nd stand-alone expansion pack for Half-Life which is Blue Shift, Released on June 12th 2001 this one adds no new weapons but we control a new character:Barney Calhoun, Lead security captain of the Black Mesa Security Force, He was ret-conned by Valve and Gearbox Software as being different from the "generic" Barney guards, This Expansion pack gets ripped into I know by those who think it's quite short (I'll give them that.. It's only 3 hours long and it costed $50 back then? but it's still good to me).
Remember that guard you saw as Gordon Freeman? That's Barney Calhoun (even if we do not start with a flashlight), The Intro showcases more of Black Mesa we didn't see as Gordon or Adrian Shephard, This location we enter is Area 9 Security Checkpoint where most of the guards are stationed, Insecurity is where we are headed to.
This first part was mentally exhausting, Tried about 6 times to force capture lossless RCB option but it just made things worse, Thankfully the rest of the videos are not as jerky..I also decided to set the premieres to ease my worries of losing a playthrough again to a system crash if it happens to this laptop.
