Now that we have arrived at Area 9 Security, We can continue into "Insecurity", This hub is populated by many guards that look like Barney Calhoun(?) but also Scientists who work for the Administration Offices and Sectors, We need to gather up our Outfit and Gun, Unlike Gordon and Adrian we use a Security Vest and Helmet which eventually break down when we take damage so this armor is not as great as the H.E.V. Suit or P.C.V. Vest, But it's at least armor.

We re-arm ourself with the 9mm Handgun, a Big workhorse in Blue Shift as this is the only weapon we start with and Blue Shift in the beginning is sort of dicey with it's ammo pickups, Starting with only 17 rounds is bad so I collect the ammo from the shooting range, Then it's time for duty.. We head towards a elevator on foot due to the Black Mesa Security Force's database having crashed and because all trams are in-operable.

Then having gotten in the elevator and dealing with mad scientists the resonance cascade occurs and we wake up..in "Duty Calls", This level takes place shortly after Adrian Shephard arrives in "Welcome To Black Mesa" and shortly after "We've Got Hostiles!", Our goal is to find a way to the Canal system, With just a pistol and the newly found crowbar ammo needs to be rationed quite more tightly then we did in Half-Life or Opposing Force, Duty Calls is a short chapter but after that we enter a long chapter that matches Surface Tension.

I should also mention the "HD Pack" Which came with Blue Shift, I might re-play Half-Life, Opposing Force and Blue Shift on all 3 difficulties after I do them on the original ld pack, this time with the HD Models, I know this pack too is slammed for not really being that creative and being a mix of Dreamcast and PS2 models but I think it's ok.
