Today We'll learn how to fix Half Life for Android Multiplayer support and give you a great LAN Gameplay demo. I'll also be showing you step by step how to install the extras zip, this fixes the console and multiplayer support. In addition I will show you how to fix multiplayer support for mods.

How to install and play Half life:
1) Install the xash3d-android-project.apk

2) Copy/download the valve folder from your Half Life 1 game folder to your android device @ /sdcard/xash/valve
Note: You can change the default data location by modifying the "Path to game resources" line in the main menu. (Xash3D version 0.15+)

Use your own data but add this extras pack:

3) Download, extract and merge the extras zip into your xash folder on your android device. Do this from either your PC or android device, see video:

Note: These files add images and sounds to the main menu and a config for joysticks. Also fixes weapon animations if missing.
Note: Open the joystick cfg file to edit the controls.

How to fix missing Multiplayer support in Half Life Mods:
1)Use a file explorer program to locate the game folder for a mod without working multiplayer support @ sdcard/xash/(game folder name)

ES File Explorer File Manager:

2)Open the gameinfo.txt file and remove the following line and save the changes:
'gamemode "singleplayer_only"'

3) Xash3D v0.17+:
Launch mods by clicking "Create mod shortcut" Then type a "Shortcut name" (Example OF) and put the game folder name here (Example gearbox) in the "Mod directory" line and save the shortcut. You can now launch the game from the shortcut on your homescreen.

or

Xash3D v0.14.1:
Launch the app and in the command line type:
"-console -game gearbox" then launch Xash3D

4)Play online games by adding the following line into the console, then you can search for multiplayer games:
Code(note quotes):
"cl_predict 1"

Connect to the sever automatically by typing this into the console
"connect 31.220.48.125:44872"

Note: This doesn't work on devices with a 3.10 kernel due to a bug, however you can still connect directly with the ip address.
