You know what, I’ll admit it—after weeks of chewing dirt and breathing Gloom spores on the Terminid front, fighting endless waves of chittering nightmares, I’m glad to be knee-deep in scrap metal again. At least when a Bot tries to kill me, it doesn’t smell like a rotten egg cracked open inside Satan’s armpit. Mintoria’s under siege, and the Automatons are throwing everything they’ve got at us—walkers, gunships, squads of socialist toasters—but I don’t even care. This planet will hold, even if I have to jam a shovel through a walker’s optics myself.

And let me be clear: if Command even thinks about sending us back to Terminids after this? I swear on Super Earth’s holy flag, I will kiss a Bot out of spite. Tongue and everything. Do you hear me, High Command? Don’t test me. I’ve spent too long in the bug pits, and I’m not going back. Bots may shoot you full of holes, but at least they don’t erupt from under the ground like a cheap horror movie villain.

So here we are, brothers and sisters: one last stand on Mintoria. The defense must hold, the factories must stay standing, and if another nuke-lobbing “brilliant tactical mind” from Command tells me to pull double duty on the bug front after this? They’re getting fragged by “friendly fire.” Mintoria is democracy’s scrapyard now. Let’s make sure it stays that way.
