Oh, thank managed democracy, I’m finally free from bug purgatory. Two straight weeks of breathing spores, digging myself out of bug tunnels, and getting pissed on by bile dragons while command kept yelling “hold the line” like my lungs weren’t dissolving. The rupture strain finally crawled back into the gloom, which means I can take a long, cleansing shower in machine oil and go back to where I belong: the bot front. Praise super earth, we’re killing robots again, baby. And you know what’s funny? While I was busy drowning in acid on Hellmire, 3,500 absolute psychos just… liberated New Alexandria from the Illuminate, against the glowy mind-control squid brigade. And they won. Like, that’s not supposed to happen. Arrowhead’s gonna see that and go “yeah, time to nerf fun.” But hey, respect. Now the real job’s back on the table: automaton mining ops on Mintoria. Apparently, they’ve been digging with tech so advanced the ministry of expansion got a chubby just reading the blueprints. Geothermal siding panels? h1pp0 filtration systems? Buddy, that’s not Habitat Tech, that’s DLC. And we’re supposed to steal it back so we can turn Outpost Alpha into a gloom-proof underground bunker. Because nothing says “hope” like living in a giant mole hole while the galaxy burns. The orders are simple: liberate Clasa, liberate Zefia, hold Mintoria, and don’t lose Hellmire. Easy, right? Except “easy” usually translates to “you’re about to get shoved into a meat grinder, but smile for the cameras.” Whatever. At least the bots don’t spit acid, burrow under my feet, or drop dune worms the size of super destroyers on me. Give me automatons any day. I’ll happily rip the hard drive out of a jet brigade over fighting another hive lord with 150,000 hp. Back on the bot front. Back where I belong. Bugs are hell, Illuminati are freaks, but robots? Robots, I understand.
