Hi.
You probably weren't expecting me.
I understand, I wasn't really expecting me either. But here I am!
Of course, there are a few things I would like to address. Such as...
Most of my videos right now are unlisted. This is intentional, as I really don't like looking back on said videos. Of course, I left up the iconic videos such as the spoon and terrahax. I also left up a few videos that were fun to make (the ps2 video, my nfsc drifting).
However, some projects (such as beta pd2) felt rushed/lazy or generally weren't interesting. So I unlisted them. I put a community post up asking if I should preserve them or not, but nobody saw it, so they're hidden now. (Community posts don't really get traction if nobody pays attention to you anymore, so meh.)
But of course, it's time to talk about something every once-dead youtube channel talks about in a crappy text-wall update video: A potential revival. The last video I uploaded (prior to this) was a year ago, joking about a video that came a year before that.
The whole reason I quit can largely be summed up to one of two things:
-Lack of Motivation
-Lack of Satisfaction
Simply put, I started this channel as a bit of a gimmick. Not a joke, but more of a secondary alias. I posted videos I wanted to when I felt like it. Despite that, I still wanted to put at least some sort of effort into them. The results?
Demotivated. The way I approached my content was pretty spontaneous. For example, Terrahax was from a video I was recommended while watching YouTube in bed at 1 in the morning, and the spoon video was made hours after the update came out as an opportunity to strike the algorithm.
Dissatisfied. When I had a good idea for something recursive, I plan it out and execute it. Problem is, my editing skills aren't the greatest, and when they do improve, I see all my previous content as pretty garbage.
Other real world factors also played a part in my disappearance, even from my few Discord friends. However, this is not a sob story, so I'm leaving these out.
When I did get back, I felt a few sparks of inspiration to dust this channel off, but nothing really concrete set in. Thus, I'm not saying this is a guaranteed revival or anything. Just a heads-up that I may post a few clips here occasionally.
The chances of me posting something are slightly increased by the fact that I have some new games to mess around with, and that my friend @xaxarolus7123 got a better computer to use. (hint hint...)
