This year marks a significant milestone for Abarth, the illustrious Italian automotive brand known for its race-ready vehicles and scorpion emblem. To celebrate the 75th anniversary of Abarth, Stellantis' Heritage team has curated an extraordinary exhibition and launched an ambitious new project, both of which pay homage to Abarth's rich legacy and its ongoing evolution in the world of motorsports and performance vehicles.

The temporary exhibition at the Heritage Hub is a dive into the storied past of Abarth, showcasing invaluable rarities that capture the essence of the brand’s evolution. These include contributions from private collectors as well as treasures from the company’s permanent collection, offering a rare glimpse into the exclusivity and pioneering spirit of Abarth.

Visitors to the Heritage Hub will be greeted by a display of 12 iconic models at the museum’s entrance, setting the stage for an immersive journey through Abarth’s history. Beyond these, the exhibition area houses 26 additional models, allowing enthusiasts and newcomers alike to explore lesser-known, yet equally significant, vehicles deep within the museum complex.

Highlighting the event is the announcement of the Abarth Classiche 1300 OT, a project that stands as a modern reinterpretation of the iconic 1960s sporty vehicle. Developed under Heritage’s “Reloaded by Creators” program, this new creation is showcased through a detailed 1:3 scale model, providing a preview of the vehicle’s definitive form.

The Abarth Classiche 1300 OT represents an evolution of the Abarth Classiche 1000 SP, introduced by Heritage in 2021. Like its predecessor, the Classiche 1300 OT will be a limited edition, with only five units available, echoing the exclusivity that has become synonymous with Abarth’s special series.

In addition to celebrating the past, the exhibition also highlights the brand's current innovations. Notable among the contemporary models on display are the Abarth 500e, sporting a striking Poison Blue livery, and the brand-new Abarth 695 75th Anniversario, both of which underscore Abarth’s commitment to evolving with the times while staying true to its roots in performance and style.

The exhibition opened to the public on April 12th and will continue for approximately three months. It includes a tour of the Heritage Hub, allowing visitors to fully immerse themselves in the world of Abarth. Those interested in attending can book their tickets online, ensuring they don’t miss out on this unique celebration of automotive history and innovation.

Through this exhibition and the launch of the Abarth Classiche 1300 OT, Stellantis’ Heritage team not only commemorates the past achievements of Abarth but also paves the way for future innovations. This event is a must-visit for automotive enthusiasts and a fitting tribute to a brand that has consistently pushed the boundaries of car racing and performance vehicle design.
