2024 Ford Focus ST Edition Interior Cabin
23Ford recently introduced a new addition to its lineup, the Focus ST Edition. This car blends the excitement of a racecar with the utility of a family vehicle, making it suitable for both track driving and daily activities like commuting or taking kids to school.
The Focus ST Edition is currently available for purchase in select markets. It features several high-performance enhancements typical of Ford's well-liked Focus series. One notable feature is the Ford Performance-tuned adjustable coilover suspension system, designed by KW Automotive, a company known for its expertise in motorsports. This system includes robust twin tube stainless steel dampers and powder-coated springs that improve the car's control and responsiveness.
This model also includes lightweight 19-inch alloy wheels crafted through a flow-forming process similar to techniques used in aerospace. These wheels are equipped with Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires, which are excellent for improving acceleration, braking, and cornering capabilities. Powering the Focus ST Edition is a 2.3-litre EcoBoost engine, which produces 280 PS and 420 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 5.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 250 km/h.
In terms of design and comfort, the car boasts a vibrant Azura Blue exterior with High Gloss Black accents and a Motion Blue interior. It comes with various popular features from the Focus ST range, including the Driver Assist Pack, which offers adaptive cruise control and a Blind Spot Information System. For those who appreciate good music, it includes a 675 W B&O Premium Sound System with ten speakers and a subwoofer.
Stefan Muenzinger, Ford Performance manager for Europe, stated that the Focus ST Edition is engineered to offer the peak of Ford's performance technology in a versatile, everyday car. This model ensures that the excitement of driving on a racetrack does not compromise the vehicle's practicality and comfort.
