Well it’s finally here, the Star Ocean 2 remake. Oh man, am I happy about that.

Still playing through it, so I haven’t seen everything that has or hasn’t been changed, but so far I’ve been very happy with the decisions made here. There are a few changes I’m not sure about, but I’ll wait and see where it all goes before making any judgments. And even then, the good has been far outweighing the iffy. Definitely a game I can highly recommend to both old fans and newcomers (so far.)

Anyway, sorry about missing last week. A lot of stuff happened, and I won’t bum you out with the details. The relevant bits are that weekly videos will continue, and for those interested in longer-form stuff, I’m happy to say the next retrospective is in the scripting phase and coming along nicely.
