Anyway, another Zelda video! This time on the black sheep of the series, Zelda II. A game I maintain is actually good… Once you get used to it’s rough edges.

Also, the topic of the video is not exactly unknown, pretty much anyone who’s played the game knows the deal. Unfortunately, that population set is far smaller than it ought to be, so I figure it deserves highlighting. Definitely a game well worth checking out, if you know what to expect.

Also, if you’re thinking of trying it out, be very careful with the NES version if you have photosensitive epilepsy. The death screen is one of the system’s more egregious examples of “Hey, maybe don’t, with the flashing lights?” Later versions on the GameCube and Virtual Console toned it down significantly.
