Hideo Kojima did an interview with IGN recently and called the Nintendo Switch the next step towards cloud gaming or predecessor to it. He thinks all games will eventually be able to be played anytime, on any device, anywhere. He even brought up the term "Transfarring" which was a feature he introduced back in 2011 that allowed gamers to continue off their save on the portable version of the game from the console version.
