I interrupt this week's vacation spot to bring you: Resident Evil Doom, ladies and gents. Not exactly RE-perfect for obvious reasons, but close enough I'd reckon. The manual settings atleast allows for the classic slow moving zombies.

I was actually going to do something like modifying Codename Hunk's zombie scripts to replace all of the monsters, but thankfully Cherno got this neat L4D zombies mod going that pretty much does exactly what I want, mostly.

So fitting too with the whole heart indicator and survival horror thing HD has going on. Had to modify some of the replacers though, Frag was still resurrecting corpses back to their HD counterpart. Cobbled up a small RE sound mod too to replace their L4D's common infected counterpart. Not counting the music, of course. I also used Universal Destructor, which does many things to make custom monsters compatible and as dangerous as their HD counterparts.

To add atmosphere, Dark DoomZ and Aliens' textures are used. Wish there was a different darker tone texture pack that fits with Doom, but this'll do.
